Vertical integration

I’m consolidating my work into fewer, more sustainable forms.

Over the past few years I’ve done workshops, newsletters, freelance writing, and various side projects across too many platforms. Going forward, I’m simplifying where things live and how people can engage with the work.

Here’s what that looks like now:

  • Patreon is the main hub for supporting my work, writing groups, and one-on-one editing.

  • I’m focusing more energy on YouTube video essays and media criticism.

  • I’m stepping back from running workshops as a primary offering, at least for now.

  • I’m done with newsletters; I’ll occasionally send direct emails when there’s something worth sharing. (I did newsletter editions about why I hate newsletters! Here’s one, here’s another, and yet another.) Full archives here.

This site is now primarily a place for orientation and updates (and maybe some thoughts that don’t fit elsewhere). If you’re looking for current work or ways to participate, Patreon and YouTube are the best places to start.
